I continue to learn what people are looking for in a therapist. Most recently, I have had an awakening and refreshing of the concepts that clients are looking for in a therapist: compassion, empathy, non-judgemental attitude, flexibility, cost effectiveness. These are items that I truly strive to provide in my private practice working with clients from different backgrounds and life experiences. I realize I can not understand 100% of what a client is trying to cope with--the best I can do is to show empathy and try to understand the client from where the client is coming from. I offer hours that are convenient to clients (i.e.: evening, weekend) and locations that are convenient to clients (i.e.: I can provide services to you in your home or other desired location as long as it provides you a confidential place to meet). I am licensed in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker.

December 22, 2011: The Holidays are upon us. Although the outward message is that this is "The Most Wonderful Time of The Year", many experience this as a very difficult and challenging times. This time of the year often brings back memories of those that we have lost and the failures we have experienced. In addition, the difficult economic situation many find themselves in this year makes things even more challenging. However, talking to a qualified mental health therapist is often a very helpful way to cope with these different feelings of stress, anxiety and depression. Marc A. Campos, LCSW, PhD student will be available to help you during this holiday season. He will be available through December 24, 2011. He will be on vacation December 25, 2011 through Jan. 5, 2012 and will resume seeing clients on Jan. 5, 2012.
